Something I have learned when I am taking pictures of the night sky, is that I really need to be shooting in the RAW picture format and not JPEG. I’ve know I should be doing this for a while just have been to lazy to actually do it. Doing this will allow me to have more flexibility when I edit the pictures.

You can see from the above picture what happens when you edit a nighttime JPEG image. It didn’t look this bad on my phone.

I believe the “Looking blue” picture was shot in RAW.
